LOST BLOG: Comic Con Panel and Cloverfield news!

HEY LOST BLOG!!!!!

I am back y’all and I’m back y’all and I’m biggity back and I’m BACK Y’ALL! And here to bring you some huge news from this years COMIC CON ’07! Did I go? NO! But who needs you when you have friends who do, and you get to see Le Vie En Rose with your wife at the Enzian Theater! Let’s get into it guys because we have shitloads to tackle and I will keep my spazmatic excitement to a minimal.

PONG IS FOR SISSYS, LET’S GET LOST!
First off, let’s FINALLY talk about what I as a HUGE gamer have beenn waiting for. No puzzles pieces to lose behind the couch, no fake Rachel Blake to follow to find out her father IS the LOST EXPEIRENCE, and NO!!!! I-Pod games please. Let’s talk UBISOFT’s LOST: GAME for PC (blah), PS3 and XBOX360!!!! Well I don’t want to type anymore, so let the WHISPERS begin…

Yup! Red wires! Locke thinking! Puzzles! Caves! Black Smoke! The MURAL in the HATCH! Locke playing with the numbers! Sawyers Book of the Month Club! This game has it all as I see it. And I think that’s all we are seeing until….drumroll please….early…2008! Yup! 2000 friggin 8! Why? Ya big dummys!

Onto our next topic which is going to take up all this blog post I’m thinking and that’s the PANEL at COMIC with DAMON and CARLTON. Things got weird with audio there, but once things got started, it got a little out of hand!

SPOILERS!!! I think?! But SPOILERS

COMIC CON: LOST: Panel PANIC!

So, Damon and Carlton came out first and not much but announcement of the LOST: Video Game.

Then, after that, let’s just get to the good stuff.

QandA
Question of violence in the finale and how much power do the writers have. Their reactions were in Season 1 there was a great deal of violence and the writers and producers are very collective.

Next question was: What happened to MICHAEL!?!?

Let’s talk about Walt and why we saw him help Locke out of the Dharma Grave Pit, some might say to help bring Michael back into the mix. But, who was in the coffin? COME ON! It’s Michael!!! But Carlton and Damon had a guest with them and let’s just announce it already, I’m sure you heard ALL about it…Harrold Perrineau, Jr. had a seat next to Damon. Yes, Michael is back. So here is LOST BLOG’s B.QUAIN’S PREDICTION: Michael is in the coffin, so we will go more Flash PRESENT if you will, to see what happens to Michael, and I feel he will fight his way BACK to the island, but “someone” will kill Michael. Michael wants his BOY, but they took Walt back and made Michael go back home and put into a mental hospital. See where I am going with this?

Okay...back to the panel.

Some questions were asked, poorly may I add, and the answers came right at after, poorly as we expect. Somethings to mention are…

1) Ben got captured by the Losties, by accident…we will be seeing more.
2) Jack and Claire, the brother and sister connection, will they ever find out…Season 4 looks good!
3) More flashforwards? Both for Season 4, flash forwards and backs.
4) Richard Alpert? No so much in Season 4.
5) Libby? Very much more in Season ?, there’s a story to tell
6) A great question was “What questions should WE be asing?” and Carlton and Damon said, “Who is in the coffin”, “Who are Adam and Eve”, “Who was on Penny’s “not so Penny’s” boat, and Are Nikki and Paolo really dead?”

They thanked everyone for coming out and then it ended with another Orientation Film introducing Station 6: The Orchid!

Marvin Candle comes on, with a labcoat of course, but NO Dharma logo and says his name is something like “Edward Hourwicks”. There is this conversation between him and the camera manbefore they start rolling if you will. Candle/Hourwicks starts arguing he’s “a scientist, not an actor”. A rabbit is handed to him with the Number 15 on it’s back and starts talking about “Welcome to Station #6: The Orchid”. He also indicated “Sorry I have lied to them and their families, but the station is NOT botanical in nature, As you know there are unique properties about he Island”, then things start shaking and falling. They pan to a rabbit on the shelf, it cuts off…back to normal it has a message saying “Welcome To Station 6. But spliced into it has subliminal shots of “Jacob Loves YOU”…CUT!

That was it! There is new LOST news until the boys start up the PODCASTS, well I don’t know when, I’m thinking when the show starts, but we have DVD’s coming on Dec. 11th.

Thanks everyone for the LOST news…but here is something we have YET to tckle on this LOST BLOG and that’s Mr Man JJ ABRAMS new project before LOST and STAR TERK come to us next year, and that’s 1-18-08, or as others like to call it CLOVERFIELD

Most of you know what this is…and wowowow! But I do have something to show you that I think, very much like the trailer we have seen, will blow your mind.

That’s the poster! Beautiful! Can’t wait to hear more and see more on this. I know it’s right up our alley, so spoilers and other “I know I know’s” I will be ignoring. I want to be surprised. Plus, it comes out on the day before my birthday, so it’s a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet gift!

Thanks guys! I need to get to work. Enjoy the blog and let’s get excited! We have LOST to talk about!

TOP TEN OF THE WEEK: Harry Potter, Documentaries, World Series of Pop Culture, and MORE!

1) FREEHELD - Florida Film Festival and HBO's "Shelter Dogs" director Cynthia Wade has brought us yet another tear jerker and brilliant story of love and compassion. A story of a police officer, Laurel Hester, for 20+ years discovers she has 3rd stage lung cancer and she would like to give her partner Stacie her pension when she dies. Living in Orange County in New Jersey, who's Freeholders REFUSE to make the decision to help her and her partner. The compelling story and amazing story were a great reason it was a Sundance's Special Jury Prize winner. We we're able to see this film in a two part documentary special screening at the Enzian for Cynthia's film and friend of the festival Alice Elliot's "Soul and Body

2) BODY and SOUL: Diana & Kathy - Click the title to go to the website. Amazing documentary from a great friend of the Florida Film Festival and a woman who introduced me to a saint with her film "The Collector of Bedford Street." Amazing documentary and you heard it here first (as we saw the World Premiere of the film), BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT Oscar Nomination. We will find out in January. The story was very sweet of Diana who has down syndrome, and she has been taking care of Kathy for 34 years, who has cerebral palsy. A must see when the film comes to your town.

3) HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX - Amazing!!!1 that's all! Amazing. Very sad, very touching, very amazing page turner. Of course I am reading the 7th book right now…so what am I doing typing this.

4) ED BANGER RECORDS Vol. 2 - Sebastian, Uffie, Justice, Busy B, Mr. Ozio, just watch the clip and that's all you need to know. Hard as hell beats and the greatest music to do ANYTHING to. Mr. Ozio, you've come along way since the days of Flat Eric.

5) COCAINE COWBOYS - The Miami Vice of all documentaries. Netflix this baby now! Trust me! Does get a little long in parts, but very very great doc on drugs in Miami and money laundering in the 70's and 80's.

6) SOPRANOS: SEASON 2/Disc 1 - My only problem with this season right now is that Tony smokes in the house. No believable. BUT, we are one the 5th episode of the season, and very very very well done. We got to Peter Bogdanovich playing himself as a psychiatrist. Very funny. But, cigar smoking in the house, NO…no way. Speaking of cigars.

7) OLIVA - Very good cigar, not so good promotion they had at the Corona Cigar Bar. 3Buy 3 Get One Free was alright, because the one they were giving away tasted nice! I think this Top Ten blog might have the cigar of the week. Ha! Three weeks in a row!

8) ANTHONY BOURDAINE: NO RESERVATIONS - Marathon tonight, MARATHON TONIGHT!!!!! I have been watching some of this genius over the week!!! So good. Travel Channel all evening!!!! Go watch! New Season July 30th!

9) WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE - Very very very fun once again to watch the series and after the first episode, the "we should have been on there"'s ended. Seems like a lot of fun to be there and it would have been amazing to be part of it. I would have looooooved to play against "Twisted Misters" and shit talk, but still a fun season. GO TWISTED MISTERS!!!! We haven't finished it yet, were in the QUATERFINALS…so NO SPOILERS. We will finish tonight!

10) VANESSA AND BRIAN ON VH-1's WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE - Yup, our 15 frames of fame guys. That was Vanessa and I on the World Series Of Pop Culture this week on VH1. It was weird to start watching the World Series Of Pop Culture Year Two since how bizarre the test taking and auditions were. But, it was nice to see Vanessa and I, two out of the three team members that made the greatest Florida team AIR GUITAR HEROS. Thanks to Jason for still making the getting there fun, but no thanks to producers for making it cheap and very cold. Damn my hair was short, and YES, that isn't a fat face, the TV adds pounds. Sorry i took these off the I-Phone from the TV, ha! If i can get screencaps for LOST, i think i can do it for Vanessa and I, haha!

That's it for the week. I do have some honorable mentions like Fantasy Football (soccer) is UP and having fun. 2 and a half weeks and we go to the EPL and LIVERPOOL to win the Title! GO BOYS!

Not much but I did LOOOOVE this site. BYS . Click, it's kinda cool…countdowns and film! Sept. 08, '07??!?! I like!

Hope you like the list! I will have a huuuuge post this week, but for now, enjoy!

TOP TEN of the WEEK: E3, Avo, Joshua, Harry Potter, Zelda and more!

1) HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX - This week it’s the film that’s getting onto the TOP 10. And next week will be Half Blood Prince I’m sure, and then the week after that will be Deathly Hallows. Ha! The film was the best since “…Chamber of Secrets” and I’m sure you’ve seen it already since it’s made the most money in film history, blah blah blah. ENJOY IT!

2) THE POLICE - When was the last time I saw a concert outdoors? The show was what I expected of an outdoor show and a huge band like The Police. Good times. They played for an hour and 50 minutes. We know the hits, so let’s stay away from those. But I got to hear “Truth Hits Everyone”, “Invisible Sun”, “So Lonely”, “Bed’s Too Big Without You”, “Synchronicity II”, and weeeird show closer “Next To You.” I had a blast with the drive up and down from Orlando with Buz and Summer and great times inside the stadium with Jeremy and his wife Andrea for the show. We had a blast.

3) MOJO CHICKEN - Great times on Saturday night. Our friends Jon and Jill made us dinner. So good. We had so much fun with these guys and we looove getting to know these guys. After dinner we decided to hit the Corona Cigar Co., where we able to catch up with Avo again.

4) AVO LEGACY - Our friend Brian met up with us at the cigar bar and I actually got to FINALLY try Avo’s Legacy. How is it this man makes such great cigars? Such a great man and such a great smoke. I suggest one if you care for a smoke.

5) E3 - GREAT GREAT GREAT announcements at this years ULTIMATE gamers convention. All three major studios come out to make some great announcements that I would like to post, if I can, in tomorrows blog. Microsoft needed some push, Sony had some GREAT titles I would love to give into, and NINTENDO blew my mind with a new idea and some titles we’ve grown up on. Speaking of…

6) ZELDA and THE TWILIGHT PRINCESS - I FINALLY started playing Zelda. I bought this when it came out, but I have always been so intimidated on the fact we were going to play as Link (of course), but this time we have to control him as if we were really playing him. INTENSE. But the game is so good. SOOOO GOOD! I will post more soon as I get farther.

7) LIVERPOOL - 3 – 0 win this weekend for our boys in RED! First game of the season in a friendly and gave us hope on a clean sheet for Reina. 3 weeks away…I can hardly stand it!

8) JOSHUA - Pretty friggin’ creepy. Birth control in a movie, worse than Rosemary’s Baby, The Exorcist, or even The Good Son. Sam Rockwell was amazing, and deserves more than what he is getting in this film. No one has even mentioned how well he’s performing, since we haven’t seen him since “Hitchhickers Guide To The Galaxy”, right? Watch the trailer…pretty crazy.

9) LOGAN - Not Joshua in ANY way, shape or form. Ha! This kid is amazing. The last two times we hung out with Levi and Kim, he’s has always been on his best behavior, and such a great kid. Being two months married, it’s hard looking at Logan and thinking we need to wait on having a kid. Ha! Levi and Kim are the best parents and deserve such a great kid! Congrats you two! Speaking of Levi, Kim, and Logan!

10) SEA WORLD - LOST BLOG 1st anniversary meet-up was in effect yesterday. Ha! Actually Levi, Kim, Logan, Karen, her family, and Vanessa and I met up yesterday for a day in the sea. Sea World actually. It was amazing. Karen is real and very much like she is on the blogs and comments. The energy was amazing and her family so friggin incredible. We had so much fun and made the best of the 95+ degree sun and heat. It was great yesterday and all the talk of life, love, and LOST, it was amazing. I just need to start re-watching LOST and catching up with everyone. Thanks guys and lots of love to all of us. Amazing times yesterday!

Okay, that’s it…I am putting this up. We have made it to the Top Ten of last week. This weeks Top Ten will be kind of slow I think. Taking it easy, but it’s a lot of music, and movies to come.

E3: Press Conferences: NINTENDO, SONY, and MICROSOFT...which one reigns SUPREME?!?

PRESS CONFERENCES (in order)

MICROSOFT – Well well. Most of you didn’t think we’d see a new console. Oh the contrary. But, don’t lose your lunch so soon. Halo 3 is the big news and of course they wouldn’t have it any other way but to mix that console and that mega million selling franchise into one. The HALOBOX360 I guess we can call it will be debuting in 11 weeks. Enjoy. Halo and I have never been a Crocket and Tubbs, Captain and Tenille, or a Turner and Hooch. So I will be passing on the Halo360. I like that better.
I’m not going to say that the Microsoft was so unbelievable, at time very boring. Seems like we would be getting all these trailers sometime in the spand of two week on Attack Of The Show instead of two hours at the conference. But we got it. And I like it. But what was I looking for? FABLE 2!!!!! I didn’t get it in this press conference, but I think we have some AMAZING titles to look out for. Let’s count because they ALL come out in 2008! YES! All 30 new titles will come out by 2008!!!!!

Get those Xmas bonuses, cause we have a TOP 10 that you NEED! In the NEXT BLOG! I will be doing a E3: GAMES blog! This is just the Press Conferenes. But I will tell you. Some announcements. Here is how Microsoft makes it ROLL!

Peter Moore plays with Harmonix and Rock Band. Yes, as some of you know te Guitar Hero franchise and Harmonix have BLOWN up to a four piece and it looks AMAZING! Guitar, Bass, Vocals and DRUMS…this $150 dollar game will also have ALL INSTRUMENTS.

Then they announce a HUGE list of games in a trailer. 30 games to be exact!
Project Gotham Racing 4 - racing, that looks STUNNING, enjoy, I won’t be buying.
MASS EFFECT - I will be posting TONS on this game. I will be buying.
Dynasty Warrior: Gundam - Nope
Fatal Inertia - don’t remember much, sorry
CALL OF DUTY 4: Modern Warfare - AMAZING! A+++++ more to come!
Metal Of Honor: Airbourne - YES OH YES! More to come!
Stranglehold - Chow Yun Fat! Enough said!
Tiger Woods PGA ‘08 - Golf!
Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock - Yeah! Uh, yeah! MORE TO COME! Friggin GREAT!
Ace Combat 6 - you fly, so maybe PS3 might be better is launched on that console.
Beautiful Katamari - Finally for Xbox! Should be great!
NHL ‘08 - Hockey!
Lost Odyssey - Should be UNBELIEVABLE. I will get into more in games.
Assassin’s Creed - WOW! Stunning and looks crazy! I wanna play NOW!
NBA Live ‘08 - Basketball! Where’s the Base’ketball game?
Spiderman: Friend or Foe - nah! Nothing too special.
The Simpsons Game - Looks adorable and fun. Maybe!
Splinter Cell Conviction - I need to catch up on the other ones.
NASCAR ‘08 - I’d rather drive in GTA IV.
Eternal Sonata - Yeah? No? YES! Look at this thing! Coming soon.
BIOSHOCK - Of course!
Madden ‘08 - I want the real football!
Tony Hawk: Proving Ground - eh, nope, maybe not!
Crash of the Titans - Not too into the whole Crash Bandacoot, but I think them kids love him!
Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix - Get it on the Wii, you ARE a WIZARD HARRY!
Orange Box : Is this Half Life 2?
Bee Movie : Jerry Seinfeld and video games don’t mix!
ROCK BAND!!!! - Keep up with em and you will know EVERYTHING ROCK BAND!
Naruto: Rise of the Ninja: Get your headband and play, but not me. Not too into anime. Sorry!

There are the games, and some, well A LOT I have a feeling I will be purchasing this year, and money will go into this console instead of the PS3 I don’t have. But I still have tomorrow to decide if I need this PS3. Wait, uh, I just noticed. NO FABLE 2!!!!! What the shit is this? NO FABLE 2!?!?!?! Grrr…

Microsoft also announces they are now partners with Disney/Touchstone to release ALL
Disney films (exclude Song of the South, I’m sure) and TV for download in HD. Yup! You guessed it. No Netflix needed. Just download. See how this goes and we might be seeing more TV through Xbox, making cable obsolete. Also for the family, Scene It with it’s remote and gaming. Excellent!

Madden, Fifa, blah blah EA. Twice as fast in real time. Great! Quain’s Liverpool will take over I bet ya!

XBOXLive as also opened up the Arcade and Sega has teamed up to put out some oldies and original downloads to the XBOX. As of now, you can download Golden Axe and Sonic.

Greatest things I saw in the press conference. GAMES wise: Assassin’s Creed!!! WOW! A+ Trailer. Call of Duty: Modern Warefare…holy moly…a must! A+ Trailer and game play! Mass Effect…patiently waiting A+, game play EVEN BETTER! Very excited.

Done for today, so let’s go to…

NINTENDO – Next day was Nintendo and Sony’s turn and wow did Nintendo throw us for a HUUUUGE loop. FAT ASS USA might not dig what I think may be the greatest thing to hit the E3 floors since, uh, well, lemme think, I guess, EVER. Nintendo launched some great titles. But weren’t we expecting them all. YES! But have we seen them before, well, ummm, YES! So why was it so good the? I mean we saw Super Mario Galaxy last year, and some Metriod Prime Wii, even Mario Kart we’ve seen since the Nintendo 64. Looks the same guys, and even has that damn old feature of Classic Tracks. But I LOOOOOOOVE them. Mario kart is too damn good. And as Vanessa just said, “if it damn broke, then don’t fix it!” Agreed. The idea of Wii Motes and the introduction of…well shit, let’s just get into shall we.

MARIO KART Wii - WAS ANNOUNCED! And it will be in 1st quarter 2008, but the HUMDINGER of it all was the fact that this baby will have the ability to have controls via WiiWheel! THE WiiWHEEL! Amazing. When you stick that cute little WiiMote in and zoom away. Oh man! The game play looks the same, but very very soon, Nintendo will announce how many characters get to drive this time around, and they said it’s MASSIVE! Whoohooo!

SUPER MARIO GALAXY - Uh, yeah, wow! This one looks just has hard as Super Mario Sunshine, and if anyone remembers that one, watch out TV’s and WiiMotes. My Wavebird almost met my TV a few times when trying to beat Level One of Sunshine. Oye. So hard, but this game looks so so so amazing. WoW! So happy to think that THIS YEAR, yes I said it, actually November 12th is the release date! WHAT? Huh? Yeah! Uh! That’s right! Get those WiiMotes charged cause I see HOURS of game play and fun times in this game.

GHOST SQUAD - Uh, Sega has a new game coming out. Haha! Sega, remember those guys who put out, Dreamcast….GOD I MISS THAT CONSOLE! Still got it! But these guys are putting out a game for the Wii that needs no WiiMote or WiiWheel, nor any Nunchuck for that matter. How do you play you ask…well with the FRIGGIN’ WiiZAPPER! Yup! The WiiZAPPER which will be coming out before the year, and fits your WiiMote and Nunchuck in there to make a gun and you zap your terrorists away in this first person shooter. Resident Evil will be easier with it, and so will Duck Hunt…I kid! I mean, Medal of Honor! Yeah! Seriously amazing. The controller will cost $19.99 and come with it’s OWN GAME!!!! YEAH BOY!

Some other cool features to mention before I go nuts with one of the greatest ideas EVER in gaming history. Nintendo will be launching WiiWare soon, cool gadgets and good times for your Wii. Also, the MiiChannel, where you will be able to home more Mii’s, download games for them, and contests on making the coolest Mii.

140 games will be launched for your DS by 2009, and 100 for the Wii by the same time. DS?!?! Did we forget to mention the biggest console ever…well not size, but in quantity! The DS has been 55 million sold ALL over the world and making it the most bought console ever! Some games coming out. High School Musical, Madden, FIFA, Brain Age 2 (Aug. 20), Dragon Quest, Smackdown/RAW, Mario Sonic Olympic Games…few of those for the Wii as well. But one that’s not for Wii is the highly anticipated release of Zelda: Phantom HourGlass which was the biggest selling game in Japan. Expect it to be just as huge and SO AMAZING, as you play the game with Stylus and your brain to solve all the dungeon puzzles and monsters.

Let’s get back to the Wii, I have some MAJOR NEWS!

METRIOD PRIME 3 - Good times good times GOOOOOOD TIMES! In the Zelda for Wii, we we’re able to become Link with the WiiMote, and I always wondered what I would look like as a girl (not really, but let me have my fantasies OK!?!?!), and we leave it to Nintendo to finally let me be a girl, and KICK ASS GIRL at that! We get to play as Samus in what seems like the same setting as the Gamecube, but this time we control everything with our WiiMotes. The greatest thing ever in the Grand Theft Auto series was when they perfected the shooting aspect of the game when holding down the R2 button and you lock on your target, well the Z button in this will help you the same way. The game play of this one was great and THANK YOU Nintendo for showing us this game, but when can I play? Oh Aug. 27th! YUP! Get those Wii’s NOW!

GUITAR HERO III - Comes with the exclusive Les Paul Guitar and the first time on the Wii. That’s all.

Are you ready for this!??!?! THE BIG ONE!!! Myself included, I’m sure we can all use some poundage to come off on the bellies. Well Nintendo thought about this and they came out with the heavy hitter this year at E3, and the MOST impressive game to hit the console, in my opinion, ALL CONSOLES.

WiiFIT - I’m not kidding. Nintendo made a fitness game that comes with a workout mat called the Wii Balance Board. This devices weighs you, saves your data and you get your workout. Does EVERYTHING from stretching, YOGA, soccer headers, hula hoops, pushups, dancing, anything you can think of in exercise. Say goodbye to gym memberships, just do it at home with your family, loved one, or yourself. The Balance Board works on your feet and weight. Wait til you see this. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think we have ALL changed our mind on how crazy the Wii is, and have learned to TRUST and LOVE Nintendo. The Wii is the greatest console to ever birth on this planet and grow to become the most powerful machine, EVER. Go fit and ENJOY this one. A+++++++

Final thoughts on Wii/NINTENDO…Super Mario Galaxy, WiiFit, High School Musical (WHY?!?!?!), ZELDA!!!, and Metriod! SO GOOD NINENDO SO GOOD! But…I do need to say this…Sick of Animal Crossing!??!?! NO! NEVER!!! Right?! How could you be? Well, NO ANIMAL CROSSING Wii this year….at all, I’m thinking. We’re not done with E3, but I think it would have premiered on stage today.

Off to the final and last company with a console that needs some pushing, some pushing like our Florida Republican House Member Bob Allen and prostitutes. Okay, maybe not that bad, but SONY isn’t looking too good with the PS3 and with the announcement on Monday of the $100 price cut, what are we looking at here? GAMES, GAMES, GAMES folks…and I think we might be getting them! But aren’t most of these games coming out for the XBOX360? Let’s see!

SONY – YES! They are! And most of us own the XBOX360, so why do we need to buy this console? Well there plenty plenty goodies in here. Still thinking of getting that PS3? Well, I think you might still be, if you haven’t been paying attention lately or playing games. There have been MANY MANY games I am waiting for, but then aren’t they coming out on XBOX360. Yes! Most titles like Grand Theft Auto 4, Medal of Honor: Airbourne, Call Of Duty 4, Harry Potter, Madden ’08, Simpsons Game, FIFA ’08, Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, Assassin’s Creed, Resident Evil 5….so what else could there be? I know I know I know most of geeks out there are begging for that trailer of KILLZONE 2, but we got that last year! So what else can we ask for…well for starters, we got a UBISOFT title, but all you LOST fans don’t get too excited. It’s not the LOST game we are expecting. They went ahead and shelved it for this…

HAZE - it’s a pretty much DUMB’d down version of Halo. Look at the name it starts with a H and an A and ens in a vowel with a consonant in there. I’m not kidding. The way the gun is held and the movement. But this time “man” need to get things “done” with his gun and it’s his way or no way, and oye vey, are you serious? This is way LOST the game is being held? I HATE YOU UBISOFT!

So you want LOST huh?

UNCHARTED: Drakes Fortune - You have this jungle and looks like you aren’t supposed to be there, but then mixes a little Indiana Jones in there for time period. Don’t know much, but looks cool!

LITTLE BIG PLANET - Seems so much fun, making and creating little towns and cities and you can share them through the PS3 NETWORK. Plus the trailer had the Go! Team in there, good song, and cute game. I’m SOLD!

RATCHET and CLANK FUTURE: TOOLS OF DESTRUCTION - Looks like fun, but I don’t play this series. Sorry.

HEAVENLY SWORD - Might be the reason I am buying this console VERY soon. Looks stunning, the girl you play seems cool as shit, and the trailer last year blew me away. But what did I get this year? Uh, not much since G4 went to commercial.

IMFAMOUS - Yup! Another shooter and blah blah blah, but VERY SMART looking. Damn good, and damn 2008! Save money I guess.

GRAND TURISMO 5 - I hate driving games since Burnout took over and bit all the other in balls (not you Mario Kart, your safe). But wait, this trailer, is that car REAL?, looks like this game, I don’t want to say it, but this game seems, WOW! FRIGGIN REAL! And AMAZING!

FOLKLORE - Damn cool damn cool damn cool. I think I am sold on this one too. Very God Of War looking, but I like!

Also, Stranglehold for PS3 will come with John Woo's Hard Boiled on BLU-RAY!!!!!!!! I'm not kidding, might be worth it RIGHT THERE!!!

Finally, before I get into the whole new PSP and PS3 NETWORK is the bid daddy of them all

KILLZONE 2 - AMAZING, and I will more and a trailer. That’s all. So KNOW YOU HAVE TO READ TOMORROW! Ha! Suckas!

PS3 has finally launched it’s PS3NETWORK and WOW! Unbelievable people. I need to so much more research on this, but with it’s community and online, this will become the MYSPACE for consoles. It’s so amazing what this is doing as we speak with PS3 HOME, and instead of what looks like the Sims, the PS3 HOME is YOU!!!! Yes! YOU! You have a WebBrowser and PSP to PS3 capabilities. A store to get cool shit and I am foaming, drooling as we speak.

That’s it though. This is 9 hours of watching in one day, and 6 pages of typing means I am DONE! I will get into more tomorrow on the WHOLE E3. I only watched the Press Conferences and tomorrow I will tackle the GAMES!

Let me watch more guys! Lots of games to get into!

TOP TEN OF THE WEEK: Ending 07-01-07

MY TOP 10 OF THE WEEK: Week Ending 07-01-07

“…I know you’ll find out, that I’m a geek, with a lower case g, and I’m trying to hide, cause I wouldn’t be seen, with a guy like me…” – Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right, B, A, Start – (“I Know You’ll Find Out I’m A Geek”)

So, I was thinking of something NEW, and very UNIQUE to do to my blog away from the every Weds. LOST BLOG and Song Of Week was cool (and will be back). But what was something no one has done yet? Well, I got to thinking, what about listing my TOP 10 of the week of things that have happened or music I got, films we’ve seen, or cool new shit to play with….well, thought to myself. Is that original, or new? HELL NO! but it rules damnit!

(This Top 5 is the great things that happened in the past week for myself, doing this more for therapeutic reasons and archiving the BEST year of my life so far…so halfway there, I need to start now. In these blog posts, I hope to give you guys a good laugh, but I guess I am leaving myself to become an open book to supreme geekness. Music, movies, video games, geek news, etc. will be in here. Oye. Have a good read!)

1) Hell’s Kitchen – This one will be on here EVERY week I’m sure. Gordon Rasmey’s my hero and this week wasn’t all too much a ball buster as the past few episodes. With Aaron being gone, Gordon taking over the elimination process two weeks ago, and no one pulling food out of the garbage to serve to customers…it was a tame game. Best show on TV right now, since I loooove my food and to cook. Brilliant show.

What would be ANY TOP 1, 3, or 10 without a FILM! Here is how we kept our week busy! Also, this segment of reviews goes out to Joel Siegel, great film critic and film lover who passed on over the weekend.

2) Once - Breath of fresh air (since we are in Dublin for this…) film from John Carney. Award winner at the Sundance Film Festival, Fox Searchlight brings this gem to you in select theaters in select cities. But, if it is by you, trust me to see it. Great music, great acting from Commitments co-star/guitar player Glen Hansard and newcomer/female singer/piano player Markéta Irglová. Superb all around and a film NOT to be missed this year. Can’t wait to singalong again.Rating: A+

3) Sicko - I won’t have this up here for arguments and I don’t know why and where (I do know why and where, but not EVER in the mood to argue) people became Michael Moore haters. Fantastic documentary about a topic that NEEDS to be told, and not by what people call Michael Moore’s style of filmmaking, one-sided, seeing as it’s more the subjects of the film telling their stories. Heart breaking, so very heart breaking, and a MUST SEE. Get to know Michael Moore, after the past few years I have had the honor to talk to him and meet up on a few occasions and I can tell how much he is like me trying to help people and just no matter what happens, no one wants change. It’s sick what has happened to this country, and I’m glad we can see what’s happening around the world. A MUST MUST MUST SEE! Rating: A+

4) Live Free or DIE HARD - Yup! Not kidding, it’s up here, and why would we be kidding. Fan-friggin’-tastic. Here you go. JOHN McCLANE! That’s all you need. He’s back and hasn’t missed a beat. Justin Long is great just adding more dialogue and some time to breath and times, but doesn’t steal the show, or act like the comic relief moron. Great action and a great story to the trilogy. A MUST SEE, before those More Than Meets The Box Office Bullshit. GO SE IT…that’s it, that’s that, that’s all there is!!! Rating: A

5) Camacho Cigars - Wow! Saturday night was a fantiastic night for a great celebration dinner and a great cigar. The Camacho was one of the finest I have EVER had for just $6.50. Mild, and such an excellent burn, wait burn…that’s the problem and why it’s $6.50. The cigar could EASY be over $10, but the fact that the cigar burns funny at times, makes this over an hour smoke kinda fishy. Just go an smoke this baby! So good!

6) Melting Pot/Corona Cigar Co - Vanessa took me out for a celebration dinner which we both felt was so well deserved. Melting Pot was so so so TASTY! Great times. Thank you baby! We hit the Corona Cigar Co. across the street. Smoked the Comacho. Then I was able to meet Avo Uvezian, famous jazz musician and brilliant cigar mogul for Avo Cigars. He played with my new toy and number 10 on this list. But then the last time we were there a couple were nice enough to pass on a Dos Equis since they weren’t going to finish their bucket. They were there again and I was able to thank the man and we wound up talking for an hour with John and Jill. Such a great couple. Just got married 8 days before us, smoke cigars, geek it out Lost, geek it out FILMS!, and seem so amazing. Good times!!!!

7) Ice Road Truckers - Watch this show when they do the famous day long marathon that History Channel’s usually do. So good! Very tense and very amazing. GOOD TIMES!

8) Simmons BeautyRest - WE GOT A NEW BED! After 12 years, we will be sleeping very very very nice. So good! You want a new bed? Get it this weekend!!! July 4th weekend is the most popular one for new mattress buying, so if you need one, GO NOW! Our bed is the greatest in the world and that leads too…

9) SLEEP - It’s amazing! Try this. We have done it since the new bed, and I am LOVIN’ IT!

Now, now, now! What would be ANYONE’s Top 10 of the week ending 07-01-07 without anything on the Iphone? Well, seriously, hate or love it, the Iphone is OUT and wants your slimy fingers to play with it. So this obviously goes into our number 10.

NUMBER 10!!! THE I-PHONE - Wow! What a little gadget. Vanessa and I went to the Apple Store on Friday to go play with the new I-Phone and Wow!!! We get in after a 45 minute wait in line and I rush into line to play with the one the guy in the line has to play with one. Vanessa goes to a table where everyone is around playing with phones. She meets up in 5 minutes after playing asking “what are you doing”…long story short. We bought two! I was hoping we can use these as our business phone (so you have the 929 number, USE THAT, haha) and wow, very tempting to move it all over to a I-Phone. We got home after Sicko that night and hooked it up and played for hours until 3am. This review is just on the First Impression of using it to play with, meeting new amazing people at a cigar shop through it, and talking to Solari to hear what New York sounds like, and it sounds UNREAL. Everything we have played with is amazing, no problems at all. Easy set-up, easy use, and amazing piece of work. WOW! Go for it people, GO FOR IT. I have used Apple/Mac for over 15 years now and I have never had a problem., enough said. THANKS I-PHONE! Wait, why isn’t it turning on? DAMNIT! Well, I gotta go and take my phone to get repaired. I kid I kid, I just want to get off the TOP 10!!! Rating: A+ on first impression

DISAPPOINTMENT of the WEEK!!!!
USA vs ARGENTINA - I looove both teams. Fantastic meet up, but not a great frigign’ game. 4 – 1 in the end and USA took a huge turn of the worst in the 2nd half. Gomez, and Gaven played as substitutes in the 2nd half. Yeah? You don’t know who they are? Me neither. Bad bad news for USA, and Argentina kicked ass in the first half, but SCHOOLED the U.S. in the 2nd. Come on USA, we just WON the Gold Cup, and now we need 3 points more and more than ever. Tonight we play Paraguay, who beat Columbia 5 – 0. Good luck guys.

Thanks guys for letting me be so UNORIGINAL, and next week, these will be written as the week goes on. Not the morning of. Much better I am sure.

See ya soon
